Woman Who Murdered Children Dies in Prison
Amanda Stott-Smith, a woman who was sentenced to life imprisonment for fatally throwing her two young children off the Portland Sellwood Bridge, has died in prison.
The Oregon Department of Corrections confirmed that Stott-Smith, 45, was found deceased in her cell at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility on Sunday morning. The cause of death has not been released.
